  • Up the Irons! The British rock band known as Iron Maiden along with their mascot Eddie will go down as one of most popular and influential heavy metal band of all-time. Formed by lead bassist and primary composer/lyricist Steve Harris in the 1970s, Iron Maiden used a combination of wicked guitar riffs, unique vocals, and excellent song composition to bring their sound to a diverse audience.

Punk band NOFX wrote a song titled "Eddie, Bruce, and Paul" glorifying the substance abusing "punk" lifestyle of original vocalist Paul Di’Anno which led to Bruce Dickinson replacing him. Bruce and Iron Maiden went on to release one of the most essential metal albums to this day, "The Number of the Beast", which helped them to gain legendary status amongst the music community.

So many artists and genres have paid tribute to Iron Maiden for good reason. Even if you do not like the heavy metal genre, you owe it to yourself to check out Iron Maiden for all they have done for the music community. We would like to thank Iron Maiden for what they have done over their accomplished 30+ year career, which is only one out of a long list of reasons as to why we chose them to be our inaugural Featured Artist.
  • One opinion should not be used to judge an artist’s creativity and work.  Music is a matter of taste and that is the beauty of the art. Our goal is not to preach to an audience about which music or musician is the best; it’s to generate a general consensus among the music community of their taste in music and generate a guideline to assist you in discovering new music and expanding your horizons.

The Albumography Team would like to welcome you to the music website for the people where the music community provides recommendations for songs, albums, and artists for all genres. Once you register, you will be able to join the community and add info, review albums, and rate songs.

Thank you and welcome to the launch of Albumography.com ... come inside, come inside!
